Daily Challenge, a website and mobile application owned and operated by Ryan Hoshor, knows you care how information about you is used and shared. We hope the following statements will help you understand how we will collect, use and protect the information you provide to us on our site or app.


What we collect & how we use it

GPS / Location Data

We do not collect, transmit, or store any GPS or location data from the App or from your device.

Log information

When you use dailychallenge.me or the Daily Challenge app, our servers automatically record information that your browser sends when you visit one of our websites or that the app sends. These server logs may include information such as your web request, Internet Protocol address, browser/device type, browser/device language, the date and time of your request, and one or more cookies that may uniquely identify your browser/device.

Usage Telemetry

When you use dailychallenge.me or the Daily Challenge app, we may utilize third-party services to collect data on how you use the app or website, for the purposes of improving the service(s).

User communications

Personal information or requests that you submit via dailychallenge.me will be sent to the site administrator. The site administrator and/or one of their members will have access to this information. When you send email or other communication, we may retain those communications to process your inquiries, respond to your requests and improve our services.

Third party sites

This Privacy Policy applies only to sites and apps that are owned and operated by Ryan Hoshor. We cannot regulate other sites linked from within our various web sites and services. We do not explicitly collect or store personal, or personally identifiable data. For the anonomized telemetry data we do collect, we may use the information we collect (including personal information, to the extent applicable) to:

  • enable you to access and use the Website and the App;
  • send communications, in accordance with your communication preferences, such as providing you with information about products and services, features, surveys, newsletters, offers, promotions, contests, and events about us and our partners; and send other news or information about us and our partners.
  • monitor and analyze trends, usage, and activities in connection with the Website and the App, and
  • comply with legal obligations as well as to investigate and prevent fraudulent transactions, unauthorized access to the Services, and other illegal activities.

We do not share your information with other institutions without your explicit consent. We may share your device information only if it has a good faith belief that access, use, preservation or disclosure of such information is reasonably necessary to

When we receive formal written complaints regarding privacy issues, it is our policy to contact the complaining user regarding his or her concerns. We will cooperate with the appropriate regulatory authorities, including local data protection authorities, to resolve any complaints regarding the transfer of personal data that cannot be resolved between Ryan Hoshor and an individual.
